EPILAR in the USA - Corporate Backgrounder

The Epilar® System, tested for over 12 years and clinically proven to reduce hair growth, has gained a tremendous following throughout Scandinavia, Germany, Switzerland, the Benelux, Italy, Portugal, Spain and France.  It includes two gels, an Activator and an Inhibitor.  Since its European launch in August 2004, more than 20,000 salons and spas carry the product and nearly 500,000 applications have been provided to European customers. 

Currently launching in the U.S., The Epilar® System will be sold exclusively in top salons and spas.  The Epilar® System plans to make their product available to skin and spa professionals across the U.S., including key markets such as Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, Miami and Dallas among others.

The group of companies involved in the Epilar business are privately held and funded, with more than 100 employees in Scandinavia, the United Kingdom and the U.S.
